June 2023 - WEC is proud to be the first practice in the entire state(!) to offer iLux2, a new procedure for the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction, the most common cause of dry eye disease. For more information click here

February 2023 - Dr. Jim gave a course "Uncovering the Magic Of Wide Field Imaging" at the IDOC annual convention in Orlando.

September 2022 - September 2022 - WEC becomes just the 3rd practice in the entire state (!) to implement OptiLight, the only FDA-approved intense pulsed light device to treat dry eye disease, meibomian gland dysfunction, and ocular

January 2022 - WEC adds Sunbit, a "buy now, pay over time" platform to provide flexible choices and enhance our patient's purchasing power.

December 2021 - WEC becomes one of the first practices in the state to provide Upneeq, a new prescription eye drop for droopy eyelids, in office. This complements our line of other eye drops such as Lumify (eye whitener), Vuity (improves age-related near focusing problems), and various products for lid hygiene, dry eyes, and macular degeneration.

September 2020 - WEC becomes one of the first practices in GA to become certified in Brilliant Futures MiSight contact lenses, the only FDA approved soft lens to reduce the progression of myopia.
